Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of
our church. Here we will discuss what we are doing to assist in the growth of our youth.
The church offers several
activities for our younger members. Some of the more popular activities are:
* Children's Church
* Sunday School
* Hospice Project
* Operation Christmas Child
Hospice Project
Our teenage Sunday school class is currently working
on our "Lap Quilts" for our Hospice project. Our goal is to make 18 lap quilts for the patients at St. Mary's Hospice in Halls.
I think that this is a wonderful way to show my students that they can be a great
help to others and even learn a skill while helping!
We will be presenting the quilts to hospice this fall.
